Minnesota Vein Clinics Welcomes New Physician

Physicians Vein Clinics is excited to welcome the newest physician within our Minnesota Vein Clinics, Mia C. Miller, MD, RPVI. Dr. Miller will be taking over our Woodbury location from Dr. Gavin in November, but you'll also be able to see her rotate between two of our new Minneapolis, MN vein clinic locations in St. Paul and White Bear Lake.

Dr. Miller grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, and remained in Michigan for her education. Her undergraduate degree came from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and she moved on to Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit for medical school. Dr. Miller stayed in Detroit for general surgery training at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University program. During her time training, Dr. Miller discovered a special interest in venous disease and the procedures physicians can use to treat different venous diseases.

In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, running, biking, and skiing. She also partakes in additional athletics such as soccer and volleyball. Living in the Minneapolis area has been a great joy for Dr. Miller with all of the wonderful outdoor activities she can take advantage of like the endless bike trails, parks, and lakes. Dr. Miller recently trained for and ran in her first sprint triathlon.

Dr. Miller also enjoys traveling whenever possible and spending time with her family. She remains an avid University of Michigan football fan - go Blue!
