The Registered Phlebology Sonographer examination is for professionals working in the area of venous ultrasound (phlebology). The passing of this exam is a reflection of Rachael’s expertise in vein care and her commitment to the advancement of vein treatments.
What does it mean to be a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS)?
The Registered Phlebology Sonographer or RPhS credential is a sign that the sonographer is dedicated to the diagnosis of veins and should be used by the patient when seeking vein diagnosis as a barometer of sorts.
The content on the RPhS examination specifically focuses on venous ultrasound and its use to diagnose and treat patients. RPhS credential holders can perform vascular ultrasound but are more specialized with additional knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease/disorders.
The RPhS examination and credential are meant to demonstrate that providers have displayed a fundamental knowledge of venous ultrasound and its use in the treatment of venous diseases.
